HB 6607 Unanimously Clears House. Onto SENATE!

We need your help to pass H.B. 6607, the "Lights Out CT" bill in the Connecticut General Assembly, to save the lives of thousands of migrating birds from deadly building collisions linked to light pollution. The bill was unanimously voted out of the House of Representatives on May 5th and is now waiting to be called for a vote in the SENATE.

This bill could save the state more than $1.5 million per year! AND save thousands of migratory birds killed every year after window collisions in overly lit areas of Connecticut.

Ask your SENATOR in Hartford to co-sponsor the bill! FIND your CT Senator here.

When you call or email your STATE SENATOR, urge them to save the lives of thousands of migratory birds by supporting and co-sponsoring sH.B. 6607, File No. 159. Ask them to:

1) Co-sponsor the bill, if they haven’t already.

2) Encourage their fellow legislators to co-sponsor and support the bill.

3) Request that the proposed bill be called to the floor for a vote.

Send your senator a personalized version of our H.B. 6607 support letter with these three asks!
